The Policy and Coordination Branch handles all cases relating to UPSC (Exemption from Consultation) Regulations, 1958, determination of inter se seniority of Engineering Services, examination of proposal relating to Extra-ordinary pension and legal reimbursement, coordination of work relating to Department Related Parliamentary Standing Committee etc. In addition, it handles all references received from State Public Service Commissions. It also compiles the details of annual works of the Commission, on record, in the form of Annual Report. The Branch also coordinates visits of foreign delegations to Union Public Service Commission, correspondence with foreign countries concerning Public Service Commissions, hosting of international events i.e meetings, workshops concerning Public Service Commissions including SAARC Member States.
